I was super excited when another of my fellow mommies over 30 referred the Frieda Baby Nasal Aspirator to me. This little device is brilliant! Like most infants my LO simply loathes the bulb nose pump. With the Frieda Baby Nasal Aspirator you put one end of the instrument into your babie's nose and the other end into your mouth and literally suck the snot out of their nose.I know it sounds disgusting and it kind of is...but mommies are reassured by the visual that their LOs nose is mucus free. You can find the little kit in most stores for $15 or less.
The next product I absolutely fell in love with is Zarbees Baby Soothing Chest Rub. When my LO came down with a cold I was looking for something to relieve her congestion. One blog suggested Vicks Baby Rub. It seemed my baby must not have been the only one suffering for Arkansas' bi-polar weather because it was out of stock everwhere. On a whim, I saw Zarbees, did some quick google research, and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! This product is an all natural alternative to Vicks. Made with shea butter, lavender, castor oil, and euculyptus oil; this was a soothing chest rub that worked really well on Princess Kaydence. It doesn't have that overpowering menthol smell and it helped her sleep peacefully through the night. It really helped with her congestion. I rubbed it on her little feet, back, and neck and within 30 minutee she was sleeping peacefully. I recommend this product for use on your LO even if he or she is just fussy before bed. Cold and flu season can be a stressful time for mommies and babies...especially when your baby is small and medication that older children could use to alleviate symptoms for the common cold are dangerous for your baby. These 2 products will help to get you and your LO through the season worry free. xoxo Krystale Jane'l

You know they make a battery operated nose sucker that is amazing! It's so easy that Ethan used it by himself when he was younger!! :)
