It took me years to finally realize what my purpose was. Unfortunately for some of us you don't just read Rick Warren's, The Purpose Driven Life and immediately figure out what God put you here to do. God didn't reveal it to me until I turned 24.
When God reveals your true purpose it's usually something you knew all along, but never quite took the time to pursue. I always loved to write. I wrote my first novel in the 3rd grade, but I never looked at writing as a career. It wasn't until I was in an abusive relationship that I used my God given gift to write my now published novel, The Undercover Life Of A Diva. When I finally realized writing was my ministry I became closer to God because everything started to make sense and I was excited about using my gift and allowing God to flow freely through me. Writing has always been quite easy for me. Storylines would pop in my head and I would just write. When you know what God called you to do there will be all kinds of doubt, fear, and criticism from others. Walk in your gift with confidence. There are so many people who would have never thought their ministry would be what it is, and they have touched the lives of millions. Remember those WWJD bracelets?! Whatever your gift is more than likely its probably your passion or something you never truly considered pursuing.. God will not reveal your purpose without revealing a promise. That's why it is so important to remain patient. God will place something in your spirit and as ridiculous as it may seem from man's point of view... through God all things are possible. So keep walking in obedience and bless others through the ministry God called you to do. This is something I am guilty of struggling with and I constantly have to work on. Whatever it is God calls you to do, pray for the vision to manifest His will, write it down, and actively pursue whatever it is wholeheartedly. You will have setbacks, some things will not go the way you think they should, but never forget when you are walking in God's will; you will have peace. I tried my hand at so many things but none of them seemed to last too long or they never seemed to work out. I was the master of starting things and never finishing them. When i started writing and allowing God to control my mind and be the author of my work things seemed to flow naturally...not in my timing, but His. So my luvs, Act In Love, Walk In Faith, & Express Without Fear xoxo, Krystale Jane'l
