Good evening luvs!
Sooo I had to share a quick pic of my natural hair twist out. This is my second time being natural. I was natural for 5 years. I permed and decided to bleach the top of my hair which was the worst mistake I could've made knowing that my hair is thick but my individual strands are very fine. My hair is like a cotton ball. It looks super thick and dense but when you pull my hair in sections my hair strands are extremely thin. The bleach was too much on my permed hair so my hair fell out. I big chopped and had a teenie fro on July 4 2016 and this is the result a little over a year later. I wear protective styles such s wigs the majority of the time and oil my hair with coconut oil and Cantu Leave In Conditioner. To achieve this twist out I use shea butter mixed with natural oils and Shea Moisture Curl Souflee. My hair is super soft and the shine is amazing. I cant wait to see the length when I straighten my hair again! Also, I am teaching my daughter about not only saving money but also investing. There is a really cool app that actually allows you to invest in ETFs based on your personal needs. The cool thing about the app is you can set it up to where it takes your spare change from your purchases and draft that from your account to invest in your stock portfolio. Another cool feature is alot of businesses have partnered with Acorn so if you shop with them through the Acorns app they will also invest a certain percentage or amount back into your portfolio. Its a really cool app and it teaches my daughter about fiscal responsibility as well as it gives her bragging rights to say she has .325 % stock in major companies such as Apple. I have only invested 10 dollars but in 2 weeks I now have $10.14. Here is the Acorns link. I encourage you all to try it :https://acorns.com/invite/MSGSFW One last thing: I am about to finish my first week of the beginners challenge Pilates/Blogilates! This is an intense pilates class led by Pilates Guru Cassey Ho.Although it looks easy it is extremely difficult because you are using your own body weight. I also have mastered a wall headstand thanks to Blogilates! I love Cassey because she has such an amazing personality she makes you want to enduring the 30 minutes or less of suffering. Here is a link to the beginners blogilates class. Be warned:those leg circles are INTENSE! https://youtu.be/lCg_gh_fppI Im super excited Im working on 2 new books, writing for an up and coming magazine, and God has lead me to begin public speaking again.
